NOTICE:
Solid Sterling is no longer selling kits or parts for
the Sterling kit car. The Sterling will soon be
manufactured by David Aliberti in Pennsylvania. He's a true motorcar
and Sterling enthusiast and has plans to continue production
of everything Sterling. A new custom chassis is currently
in the early construction stage, and will be a great asset to
people who want a new kit or to retrofit an older Sterling.
David
and I are working together to make the transition as smooth as
possible, trying to keep the supply line of parts as uninterrupted
as we can, but there will be about a month or two of non-availability
while we work out shipping of molds, inventory, etc. to get Dave
up & running. I will continue to receive phone calls at Solid
Sterling. There will be an answering machine with a message
advising you how to contact Dave; if you wish to talk to me personally,
you can wait for the obligatory "beep" and leave a
message. I'll return your call as time permits; sometimes it
may take me a day or two to get back to you--but I love talking
to any Sterling enthusiast whenever I can.
Let
me take this opportunity to sincerely thank all of you with whom
we have done business through the years. I can't believe how
many wonderful folks there are who are interested in our cars.
I have met many of you personally, and countless others on the
phone, and have thoroughly enjoyed our conversations. I was surprised
how many people expressed true concern over my health when I
shattered my heel bone a few years ago, and their patience while
waiting for their parts during my recovery was just extraordinary.
My
wife Sidney and I truly thank all of you for your unending support.
